Cole got Confirmed at Immaculate Heart of Mary on May 11, 2012. This has been quite the long year for Cole. He started taking these classes at church every Sunday starting in September. He made a big commitment and even got a very nice compliment from Father Jim who taught the class. Each kid had to do an interview with Father Jim so he knew if they were ready to be confirmed. After the interview, Father Jim came out to me and said that, that was the BEST interview he had, had with any of the kids and continued to ask Cole what he was planning on doing after High School. Cole went on to say he would probably go into business, (in the back of my head, I am thinking, oh know!! He wants Cole to be a Priest!) but NO, he told Cole that he could be ANYTHING he wanted to be!! That he was such a smart kid and that he should be a doctor or a lawyer or even fly airplanes like he did at Airforce Academy. It was just such a nice compliment and Father Jim was such a good teacher to all these High School Sophomores. But now we can say that Cole is officially an Adult member of the Catholic Church!
