Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!!

It has now been raining for at least 2 full days straight here!  There are many roads closed and lots of closures but not for my kids!  They still have school.  All after school activities were cancelled today.  I have never seen anything like this, here in CO!  Here are just a few pictures from around our house.

This is Colorado Blvd. going North.  I just dropped Katie off at school and there were sections of roads with tons of water.

We did end up finding water in my craft room downstairs.  We think the water spout beside the house was just pooling up and got down in our foundation, so Kurt did pull the carpet up on the sides and we have the fan blowing on it now.  Good thing we caught it when we did since it wasn't all over in the room yet!  Just the outer edges.
