Waste Management Phoenix Open

Kurt and I left on Friday, January 30th to go to Arizona to the Waste Management Phoenix Open Golf Tournament.  We met up with John and Sonya.  Friday when we got in it was raining pretty good but Kurt and John were determined to golf.  So what did Sonya and I do??  We waited in the club house for them and had some drinks.  If it wouldn't have been raining we definitely would have gone out with them.  They played 9 holes and came in pretty cold and wet.  We then went back to our hotel and went out for a nice dinner.
Saturday it was time to head to the golf tournament.  It ended up being a nice day, a little chilly but we will take that anytime over the rain!  Kurt was able to get us great tickets for this event which included a suite with all the food and drinks.  We walked a lot of the course and followed Ricky Fowler and some other golfers and then went to the suite for some lunch and watch most of them come in to the 18th hole.  Our only disappointment was not being able to see Tiger Woods play.  He did not qualify for the 2nd day. Bummer!  But we had a GREAT time and hopefully get to do this again next year!
