On Saturday, February 23, 2013, My parents were awarded the Northeastern Junior College President's Award. This is an award that is presented annually to the person or persons having contributed physically, fiscally, or both to the Alumni Association and NJC. These recipients have helped NJC maintain and raise its standards of excellence.
We started the day by going to the awards luncheon at 11:30 am at the Plainsman Grill and then went to dinner with the family and then on to the Men's Basketball game. My parents were then awarded at halftime of the game too.
CONGRATULATIONS MOM AND DAD!!
