July 4th

We had a nice relaxing day on Friday, July 4th!  We slept in and did some stuff around the house and then decided to go to the lake for a while.  It ended up being a pretty quick trip!  Cole was the only one who got to surf before the rain and hail started!  Not much fun getting hailed on and trying to get your boat off the water along with everyone else!  The storms have just rolled in so quick lately that you don't have much warning.

We then got home and got all showered and headed over to Taylor's for the fireworks!  They live right by the Broomfield commons who put on a GREAT fireworks show.  They also have all sorts of things going on for families there at the commons.  Live concerts, rides for kids, etc.  We just stayed over at The Nishimotos for a BBQ and the fireworks.  The only picture I ended up taking was this one, when they were loading up the horses before the fireworks began.  Next year I will try to do better with taking pictures.:-)
